௨. பள்ளிக்கட்டணம் குறித்த புகார்கள் பெற்றோர்களிடம் இருந்து வந்தால் நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்படும். - தமிழக அரசு சார்பாக முதல்வர் செல்வி ஜெயலலிதா அறிவிப்பு.
கடந்த மாதங்களில் நாம் படித்த இந்த செய்திகள் உணர்த்துவது என்ன ?
மக்களுக்காக மக்களால் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட அரசு தன் கடமையை செய்வதற்கு 25 கோடி பேரின் ஆதரவை கோருவது எதற்கு ? ஒரு தொலைப்பேசி எண்ணை தொடர்புகொண்டால் ஒரு மணி அடித்ததும் தொடர்பு துண்டிக்கப்படும் என்றால் அந்த சேவையின் மூலம் ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட தொலைபேசி நிறுவனத்துக்கு பணம் செல்லாதா ?
பள்ளிக்கூடங்கள் அதிக கட்டணம் வசூலிக்கின்றனர் என்று செய்தித்தாள்களிலும் தொலைக்காட்சிகளிலும் அனுதினமும் வரும் செய்திகளை வைத்து நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க முடியாதா ? யானைகள் ஓய்வு வேண்டும் என்று கேட்டா குளிர்பிரதேசங்களுக்கு கூட்டிச்சென்று புத்துணர்ச்சி கொடுக்கப்பட்டது ? பாசனத்துக்கு நீர் திறந்துவிடவேண்டும் என்று பயிர்கள் கோரிக்கை வைத்தால் தான் தண்ணீர் திறந்துவிடப்படுமா ?
ஒவ்வொன்றுக்கும் மக்கள் கோரிக்கைகள் வைக்கவேண்டும் புகார் கொடுக்கவேண்டும் என்றால், அரசாங்கம் தானாக வேலை செய்யாதா ?

“No clarity on how schools should collect fee”
CHENNAI: The Madras High Court on Wednesday asked the Government Pleader (GP) to get instructions and file an affidavit regarding the steps being taken by the Tamil Nadu government for implementing the report of the Justice K.Ravirajapandian's Committee on fee structure for private schools.
The First Bench consisting of Chief Justice M.Y.Eqbal and Justice T.S.Sivagnanam passed the order on a public interest litigation petition by M.Sheik Mohammed Ali of Alwarthirunagar here.
It posted the matter for further hearing after two weeks to enable the GP to file the affidavit.
The petitioner submitted that the government should constitute a one-man commission to monitor whether school managements were collecting only the fee recommended by the committee. He read in newspapers that some schools were collecting more money and were issuing receipts without mentioning the name of the institution and address.
Also, receipts mentioning a sum which was less than that actually collected were being given. Till date, the government had not taken any effective action against erring institutions.
Further, there was no clarity as to how the schools should collect the fees, whether annually, half-yearly or quarterly.
It was not known as to how the government was going to implement a fee structure for non-recognised schools.
“No action taken”
He made a representation to the official authorities on June 7, but no action was taken. Hence, the present petition.
